I was guided to pick two cards for us this week to give us an idea where to go whether mentally,physically, or/and spiritually – from the Gateway Deck by Denise Linn.

This is my own intuitive interpretation of the cards.

The card that came up first is “Embarking on an Adventure” On this card there are icons of various places such as England, Paris, & Japan, and there’s a woman on an air balloon looking through a telescope at the landscape below her. This card suggests to me that this week could be the week to start something new, or it could be the week to up-level something that you’ve been working on … or a project.

This could be the time to consider if there’s some person in your life that you’ve been a bit uncertain about …this could be the time to trust your intuition … give them a chance and let them into your life. Or maybe you thought they had left your life … this could be the time to mentally open your heart and let them in … know that you are loved.

It can also be the time to go on a mini adventure … go somewhere you haven’t been before … a park that you’ve not been to before … a part of the city that you’ve not been to before. Just try something new. This is the time to branch out.

The message on the card is:
I savour the wonders of the world.

The second card is “Savouring Pleasure”. What does that mean in the coming week?

On the card you can see all kinds of wonderful things such as a rose,music, and it’s all on a background of different shades of blue. Blue is a very healing colour. It’s also the colour of the throat chakra – communication.

This card could well be telling us it’s time to take a break. It’s time to give ourselves a treat.

Whether that’s buying some small object that you’ve been wanting and that is well in your budget, but you just thought ‘I don’t deserve this ‘ OR something simple as going to have a nice cup of coffee or a drink and just sitting watching people, reading a book , and taking time for yourself without worrying about anybody else or any other obligations to anybody else… just having time to chill.

There are also musical notes on the card. This could mean you have to say what you want. People sometimes want to do something nice for us and we think ‘oh I don’t want to be a bother’. The throat chakra blesses us with the power to speak out and be open to receiving pleasure and good energy as well as giving it out.

The message on the card is :
I fully embrace bliss in my life.

And that is our reading for today❣Everyone’s situation is different, so just be open to the elements of the reading that resonate with you. Everything might not resonate with you so just receive the bits that do speak to you.
