Greetings & Blessings,
Today we’ve got some information and some guidance about eliminating stress. It is from the book that I found on my bookcase when I was tidying up. I must have bought it sometime ago! Things have a way of coming back into our lives when they’re needed, don’t they. 🙂
It’s called “60 Ways to Feel Amazing”.
“Identify and eliminate unnecessary stressors”
“A certain amount of stress encourages us to achieve and to be dynamic in our lives as you learn to overcome life challenges. However, too much stress can cause exhaustion, depression, lethargy and even illness.
Identify and list the unnecessary stress in our lives.
Then we can work to change our approach & release harmful stress.”
So I wonder how do we release the stress?
I think there are many ways. We can talk to someone who can listen & offer guidance, we can exercise,mwe can meditate with some soothing music … maybe go to the park ….maybe just sit quietly and read for a moment to get our equilibrium back.
How do you release stress I wonder? I’m talking to myself as well. We can all help each other. What kind of things do you do to reduce stress?
Do you start some technique as soon as the stress starts to arrive, and what do you do when it’s too late and you’re in full-blown stress mode? How do you calm yourself down?
Two of my favourite methods are breathing slowly – and when possible – just switching activities for a while. Get some fresh air, etc.
