Hello!
Today let’s talk about blame. It’s not my fault … it was the weather …it was too much competition… I am too old…
There are so many excuses we can make when things go wrong. But let’s take a look at ourselves and see where the responsibility really lies.
How can we fix things so that we’re in a positive flow and moving forward?
Here are a few thoughts! 🙂
Of course there are often circumstances that are out of our control, but let’s try to think of a way around things instead of playing the blame game, and coming to a dead stop.
If we didn’t get what we want, let’s think, how we can change things. Do we need more training? There are so many online courses -like at Udemy and other websites – that we can take. YouTube has a plethora of videos that we can watch.
Was the timing right to take action, to have made a move? Perhaps we asked someone for something, and they were preoccupied. Perhaps another time would have been better. That means maybe we can try again later.
Did we try to do something when we were too tired; if we pushed ourself too hard? That means we can give it another go when we’re more rested.
Was our plan a bit too ambitious? In that case maybe we can break it down into smaller bits, instead of blaming the fates or circumstances
Of course we often need help from others, community, friends, colleagues. We should also be aware of the competition & know their methods. We should know the latest trends in our field. But at the very end it’s down to us, and a big dose of determination, persistence or perseverance, and faith.
I’m talking to myself as well. Blame is an energy drainer. Let’s permit ourselves a little moan once in a while, but then let’s quickly drop it, and live a little lighter and with a bit higher energy, positive energy.
What do you think? Let’s share. How do you deal with times when you feel like blaming anything & everything & everyone? Let’s help each other!
